MOSCOW, February 6. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Internet company Yandex is opening a research and development center in Berlin, says the company’s blog.
Yandex plans to employ a team of 30-40 people by year-end to develop additional products for the Yandex.Maps service. The new office will later welcome specialists in other fields, including European programmers, said Yandex’ spokeswoman Tatyana Komarova.
The center in Berlin is Yandex’ 16th office in the world and third in Europe — the other two are situated in Zurich and Luzern.
