Russia’s oil processing ups 4% to 24 mln tonnes in January

MOSCOW, February 03, (TAR-TASS). Russia’s oil processing in January 2014 increased by 4.2 percent, as compared to the same period of 2013, and reached 24.019 million tonnes, the Central Energy and Fuel Supervisory Department said.

In the period under review, oil supplies to Russia’s oil refineries for processing in January grew 0.5 percent to 23.212 million tonnes.

Among the major oil receivers in January were oil refineries of Rosneft (6.403 million tonnes) and LUKOIL (3.865 million tonnes), the department said, adding that plants of Gazprom Neft got 2.645 million tonnes, Bashneft - 1.842 million tonnes, Surgutneftegaz - 1.715 million tonnes, and Slavneft - 1.33 million tonnes.
