Russian government allocates over 14 billion rubles in subsidies for agro producers

MOSCOW, January 23. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s government allocates 14.44 billion rubles in subsidies from the federal budget to regional agricultural producers.

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the relevant decree submitted by the Agriculture Ministry.

Subsidies are allocated to co-finance expenditure commitments of agricultural producers in Russian regions, except for individual farmers, on the implementation of regional and municipal programs and to introduce agro technology activities, to raise environmental safety of agricultural production and to increase soil fertility and quality per 1 hectare of the crop area, according to the accompanying documents.
