WASHINGTON, January 17, /ITAR-TASS/. The US Senate has approved a bill on the budget financing of Federal government for a period until September 30, that is until the end of the current fiscal year. During the vote on Thursday night, the document was upheld by 72 Senators and 26 voted against it.
Twety-four hours earlier the bill, which envisions the allocation of $1.1 trillion on government activities, had been backed by the House of Representatives. The document is now to be referred to US President Barack Obama, who is expected to sign it not later than Saturday, January 18.
