Prices for petrol, diesel fuel in Belarus increase by 2 percent on average

MINSK, December 28, 23:22 /ITAR-TASS/. Prices for petrol and diesel fuel in Belarus have increased by 2 percent on the average.

Belneftekhim State Concern has approved new transfer and retail prices for oil products. The concern’s press service reports that the price of one litre of diesel fuel reaches 9,600 Belarusian roubles (about 1 U.S. dollar).

The petrol price will be between 9,500 Belarusian roubles (one U.S. dollar) and 8,600 Belarusian roubles (0.9 U.S. dollar). “The prices have been revised since January 1, 2014 in order to compensate the rates of excise duty for sub-excise oil products,” the concern reports.

Lately petrol and diesel fuel have increased in price on December 5, 2013.
