MOSCOW, December 28, 21:22 /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s government has decided to submit a draft law to the State Duma, lower house of parliament, to ratify the Russian-Kyrgyz agreement on cooperation in transporting, distributing and purchasing natural gas on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
Under the agreement, Kyrgyzgaz Company and its cessionaries will carry out the following functions: gas supplies to Kyrgyzstan; underground gas storage; distribution and purchase of gas; measures to construct, reconstruct and develop gas transport and gas distribution systems, underground gas storage facilities and others of the gas complex.
The agreement is concluded for 25 years.
