Finance Ministry: RF federal budget surplus downs almost RUB 9 bln to roughly RUB 600 bln

MOSCOW, December 26, /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s federal budget surplus dropped by 8.78 billion roubles (USD 1 = RUB 32.65) in November 2013 and totalled 599.94 billion roubles as of December 1, the Russian Finance Ministry says.

The surplus dropped by 24 percent on the same period of 2012. As of December 1, 2012, the federal budget surplus amounted to 788.7 billion roubles.

Proceeding from preliminary estimate of the federal budget’s major indicators of January-November 2013, the budget revenues amounted to 11.758 trillion roubles, or 91.1 percent of the total amount of the targeted budget revenues for the year. In addition, the budget expenditures amounted to 11.158 trillion roubles, or 83.3 percent of the target.
