Pension Fund's 200+ million roubles to explain reform

MOSCOW, December 24. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia's state pension fund will spend more than 200 million roubles on a campaign to tell the nation about new conditions for calculating retirement pay.

Fund chairman Anton Drozdov told the Federation Council upper house committee for social politics on Tuesday that most of the funds would go on developing print material and audio and video aids.

"This work is important and we will finance it," he said. "The most important thing is to ensure that the pension reform is made fully clear to the population and that we offer a clear-cut and adequate picture of what is going on.
