MOSCOW, December 19. /ITAR-TASS/. The outgoing year has become a year of missed opportunities from the point of view of countermeasures against negative tendencies in the economy, Russia’s Deputy Minister for Economic Development Andrei Klepach told reporters on Thursday.
“A pause-in-growth scenario, a conservative scenario has been applied in 2013. The year has fallen short of expectations becoming a year of missed opportunities,” the deputy minister said, hoping that the year 2014 would not be a year of lost opportunities.
The deputy minister said he did not expect a sizable growth in prices next year, but a decline was not expected either.
