Ukraine government approves draft budget for 2014

KIEV, December 18. /ITAR-TASS/. The Ukrainian government has approved a draft budget for 2014, Ukrainian presidential adviser Irina Akimova told reporters on Wednesday.

“The draft budget was mostly approved,” Akimova said without elaborating the macroeconomic indicators.

The state budget deficit may make about three percent in 2014, Russian First Deputy Finance Minister Anatoly Myarkovsky said on Tuesday. “The deviation from this level can be within a range of 0.5 percent,” he noted. In his words, the minimal salary will be increased in three stages in 2014 and will grow 18 percent.

Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov stated on Wednesday that the budget for 2014 will be socially oriented thanks Russian financial aid to Ukraine.
