Moscow to host meeting of Supreme Eurasian Economic Council December 24

MOSCOW, December 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow will host a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on December 24, the Kremlin press service said on Wednesday.

“The presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will discuss the main areas of cooperation among member-states of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space and the progress of work towards creating a Eurasian Economic Union by January 1, 2015,” the press service said.

The meeting will consider the preparation and implementation of roadmaps for Kyrgyzstan and Armenia’s accession to Eurasian integration structures.

Delegates also plan to sign some joint initiatives on common customs policy, regulation of natural monopolies and competition rules.
