Finance Ministry not plan to use resources from Reserve Fund to replenish budget this year

MOSCOW, December 05. /ITAR-TASS/. The Russian Finance Ministry does not plan to use the financial resources from the Reserve Fund to replenish the budget for this year. “Now we are more and more convinced that these financial resources will not have to be used,” Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said in reply to the question whether the Finance Ministry will have to take 200 billion roubles (more than $6 billion) from the Reserve Fund to make the budget balanced. Siluanov noted that the budget “will be fulfilled in terms of its revenues according to the target figures” this year.

According to the amendments that the State Duma lower house of parliament had introduced in the law on budget, the Finance Ministry is permitted to use up to 200 billion roubles from the Reserve Fund to fund the budget expenditures this year.
