Gazprom holds a 51% stake in the Nord Stream pipeline project

MOSCOW, November 14, 12:05 /ITAR-TASS/. Nord Stream AG profit has increased by 56.8% and reached 3.82 billion rubles in the six months of 2013, Russia’s gas giant Gazprom reported on Thursday.

Gazprom’s share in profit amounted to 1.948 billion rubles, the report says.

In the six months of 2012 net profit reached 2.437 billion rubles while Gazprom’s share was at 1.243 billion rubles.

Gazprom holds a 51% stake in the Nord Stream pipeline project.

Nord Gas’ net profit reaches 659 million rubles. Gazprom holds a 50% stake in the company.

Gazprom’s loss at Shtokman Development capital stock is estimated at 207 million rubles, the report says.
