MOSCOW, November 1 (Itar-Tass) - Russian presidential special envoy for the Middle East, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bodganov and Moroccan Ambassador in Moscow Abdelkader Lecheheb agreed with the need to search for the political resolution of the existing regional problems, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Friday.
“The high-ranking diplomats exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East and North Africa. They called for searching for political means by resolving regional problems, including the convocation of the Geneva II Peace Conference in order to settle the Syrian crisis as soon as possible,” the ministry said.
During the conversation, Bogdanov and Lecheheb “also discussed key issues of friendly relations in different spheres”, the ministry said.
