WASHINGTON, October 1 (Itar-Tass) - The United States stepped in a new financial year of 2014 that began on Tuesday without a budget.

The Administration of U.S. President Barack Obama and the Republican opposition in the Congress failed to reach a compromise. The suspension of the work of the U.S. government that had been heatedly debated became reality for the first time in the last 17 years.
