Russian Helicopters OJSC has 870 orders on hand until 2020

The company plans to export 232 helicopters within this period

ROSTOV-ON-DON, August 22 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Helicopters OJSC has a stock of orders for 870 helicopters worth about 388 billion roubles for the period until 2020, documents for a session on the development of Russian helicopter industry say. The session chaired by President Vladimir Putin is due on Thursday.

The documents say that in particular, that the company plans to export 232 helicopters within this period. This year, Russian Helicopters is expected to produce and sell 321 helicopters. This figure will be ensured through an increase in sales of military helicopters, including on the domestic market.

In particular, this year the company plans to sell 71 civil helicopters, including 25 for exports. Under the company’s development strategy, the annual production will be at least 470 helicopters until 2020.
