Russian government names agencies responsible for improving investment climate

Delivering of the maps involved participation of experts and entrepreneurs in areas most problematic for business

MOSCOW, August 21 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed an instruction listing federal ministries and agencies responsible for implementing "road maps" to improve the nation's investment climate.

Delivering of the maps involved participation of experts and entrepreneurs in areas most problematic for business, Medvedev told a cabinet meeting.

One federal agency would be responsible for implementing one map, he stressed. "The tasks and the persons responsible are spelled out, so we need to work towards a result," Medvedev said.

Medvedev's instruction is published on the official government website.
