Kazakhstan's trade volume with Customs Union members increases to $12 billion in 1H 2013

Exports have grown by 2.9% to $3.181 billion

ASTANA, August 14 (Itar-Tass) - Kazakhstan's trade volume with two other members of the Customs Union - Russia and Belarus - increased to $12.082 billion in January- June 2013, up 9.6% year-on-year.

The republic's statistical agency said exports have grown by 2.9% to $3.181 billion, and imports by 12.3% to $8.901 billion.

Kazakhstan exports to Belarus and Russia mineral products /40.3% /; metals and derivatives and chemicals account for 24.5% and 14.6%, respectively.

Russia and Belarus export to Kazakhstan mineral products /27.4% of all Kazakhstan's imports/, machinery and equipment /22.2% /, metals and metal products /15.7% /, chemical products /11% /, and food of animal origin, plant products and finished foodstuffs /9.9% /.
