Russia’s electricity export drops by 28% in 1st half of 2013

The export to foreign countries dropped by 28.3% to 6 billion kWh

MOSCOW, August 5 (Itar-Tass) - The export of electricity from the Russian Federation over seven months of the current year dropped by 28% against a similar period of the previous year to 8.2 billion kWh, the central dispatch service of national fuel and energy complex reported.

The export to foreign countries dropped by 28.3% to 6 billion kWh, to the FSU countries - by 20.7% to two billion kWh.

In July export of electricity made 0.8 billion kWh, including to foreign countries - 0.6 billion kWh, and to the FSU countries - 0.2 billion kWh.
