UAC, ODK sign contract to supply 156 engines for Il-476 planes

The price of the contract is of 140 billion roubles

MOSCOW, July 10 (Itar-Tass) - The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) and the United Engine Corporation Managing Company (ODK) have signed a contract to supply 156 engines for the Il-476 planes at the amount of over 30 billion roubles.

The first engines are planning to be supplied at the end of 2013.

The contract should be approved by the UAC and ODK boards of directors.

At the end of 2012 the Defence Ministry signed a contract with the UAC to purchase the 39 Il-476 aircraft. The price of the contract is of 140 billion roubles. The Defence Ministry has provided funding to the contract within the state order.
