Gazprom’s export to Europe in July already exceeds previous year’s indicator by 10%

The current level of export corresponds the winter’s one and makes up 450 million cubic metres of gas a day

MOSCOW, July 9 (Itar-Tass) - Gazprom’s export to Europe in July is already ahead of plan and exceeds by ten percent the indicator of the same period of the preceding years, Gazprom Neft CEO Alexander Medvedev told reporters on Tuesday.

In his words, the current level of export corresponds the winter’s one and makes up 450 million cubic metres of gas a day.

In his view, the hike in the company’s export is linked with not only the gas loading into underground gas storages, but also with the growth of demand in Russia’s gas on the European market. “In the winter, it was not yet unclear, but now it is evident that the Russian gas demand is in the growth,” Medvedev added.
