Medvedev to chair conference in Ufa on chemical industry strategy

Russian Prime Minister will discuss the strategy for a period until 2030

MOSCOW, July 3 (Itar-Tass) - Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will chair a conference in Ufa on Wednesday to discuss a chemical industry development strategy for a period until 2030 from the view point of provision of the sector with feedstock.

A government press servive officia said Medvedev is also set to  tour the OAO (public joint-stock company) POLIEF (polyester) of the OAO Sibur-PETF comany to inspect production buildings, production control system and specimens of the output. The Head of Government will also visit the RF Pension Fund department in Blagoveshchensk where the operation of an electronic library of files of the recipients of maternity capital and the insurance premia administration system will be demonstrated to him.

Vice-Premier Arkady Dvorkovich, Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Mikhail Babich, plenipotentiary presidential representative in the Volga Federal District, officials of ministries and agencies, the executives of oil and gas producing companies, as well as the directors of chemical and petrochemical complexes will participate in the conference to be conducted by the Premier.
