Int’l economic forum begins working in Astana

The forum will discuss the main world economic problems

ASTANA, May 23 (Itar-Tass) - - The sixth international economic forum, in which more than 9,000 people from 120 state of the world take part, began its work in Astana.

The forum will discuss the main world economic problems. Representatives of the international financial and economic elite intend to discuss the steps to overcome negative economic tendencies which appeared of late. Within the framework of the forum, the participants in the World Anti-Crisis Conference will work out a final declaration and the main provisions of the project of the World Anti-Crisis Plan, which will submitted later to the United Nations for consideration.

The slogan of the World Anti-Crisis Conference is to ensure a balanced economic growth of the world economy.

During the work of numerous sections and round-table meetings, it is planned to discuss the ways of transiting to the so-called green civilization, financing of the projects to control the climate on the planet, issues connected with Kazakhstan’s joining the WTO, the ways of modernizing the state service and many other urgent issues of modern life.

The holding on the eve of the event of the megaproject under the title of G-Global the aim of which is to bring the processes of searching for anti-crisis solutions to the level of the world Internet-audience. During the work of the portal G-Global, a total of three million visitors from 160 countries of the world took part in experts’ reviews, debates and discussions.

On Thursday, on the opening day of the forum, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev is expected to make a speech.
