MOSCOW, April 8 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s Finance Ministry does not rule a possibility of discussing Cyprus’ debt restructuring as part of the G-20 ministerial meeting in Washington, Finance Minister Andrei Siluanov told journalists on Monday.
“President Vladimir Putin gave an instruction to restructure Cyprus’ debt. We’ll execute this order,” Siluanov said.
In addition, the minister noted that the proposals, which could be put forth in Washington, could hardly differ from what had been earlier offered.
“Till now Cyprus has not addressed us, but we are ready for consultations,” Siluanov added.
