Cyprus pres flies out for Brussels, parl vote postponed

A meeting of the Eurogroup (finance ministers of the euro zone countries) and a delegation from Nicosia will be held on Sunday

LONDON, March 23 (Itar-Tass) - Cyprus's President Nicos Anastasiades flies out for Brussels this Saturday for consultations with European Union and Eurogroup leaders, BBC reports.

Anastasiades is accompanied by leaders of Cypriot parliament parties.

A meeting of the Eurogroup (finance ministers of the euro zone countries) and a delegation from Nicosia will be held on Sunday.

The vote in the Cypriot parliament on the draft law to impose a levy on bank deposits exceeding 100,000 euros is postponed until the return of the president from Brussels.
