MOSCOW, February 25 (Itar-Tass) – The Customs Union, involving Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, proved its efficiency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
Speaking at the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Diplomatic Academy on Monday, Lavrov said the Customs Union increased competitiveness of the economies.
“After the Customs Union was created the economic growth stayed strong. The Customs Union proves its efficiency,” the Russian foreign minister said.
“The higher the economic performances will be, the more effective our positions on trade and investment cooperation with other countries will be,” Lavrov stressed.
