MOSCOW, January 24 (Itar-Tass) – The Russian State Duma lower parliament house plans to instruct the Russian Audit Chamber to audit financial activities of the Bank of Russia in 2010-2012. A draft resolution to this effect will be considered at a Duma plenary session on Friday, January 25, the State Duma Council ruled on Thursday.
The move was initiated by the National Banking Council. The audit is planned to be held in the period from June to November 2013.
The Audit Chamber is to check the use of funds formed from the Bank of Russia incomes and the Bank’s expenses on its departments and organizations within its competences.
