MOSCOW, December 11 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s gas giant Gazprom will open an office in Qatar in near future, the company’s subsidiary Gazprom Marketing & Trading (GM & T) said in a statement made public on Tuesday.
The office in Qatar will be involved in the development of relations not only with Qatar’s companies and governmental organisations, but also with other strategic energy partners and their governmental structures in the Gulf region.
In addition, the new office in Qatar will represent Gazprom at the Forum of Gas-Exporting Countries, which is headquartered in Doha.
The official opening of Gazprom’s office in Qatar will be held in near future.
