MOSCOW, February 5. /TASS/. Russian oil and gas revenues surged by 17% year on year in January 2025 to 789.1 bln rubles ($8 bln), the Finance Ministry said.
Taxes on oil and gas condensate production and exports (the mineral extraction tax, export duty and added income tax) provided the budget with 903.6 bln rubles ($9.2 bln) in January 2025, up 17.2% against a year earlier.
The mineral extraction tax and the export duty on gas gained 24.9% in January 2025 and totaled 216.4 bln rubles ($2.2 bln).
