MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. The meeting of the Russian-Iraqi intergovernmental commission (IGC) on trade, economic and scientific-technical cooperation will be held in late April 2024 provisionally, Russian Deputy Energy Minister Sergey Mochalnikov told reporters.

"The provisional date of the Russian-Iraqi IGC - late April," the official said.

Energy Minister Nikolay Shulginov is the co-chairman of the commission from the Russian side. Lukoil and Gazprom Neft are working in Iraq among Russian oil and gas companies.
