Aeroflot Group increases Q1 transportation by 21.7% to 11.5 mln passengers

According to the statement, passenger turnover increased by 30.9%, maximum passenger turnover - by 27.9%

MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. Aeroflot Group increased Q1 transportation by 21.7% year-on-year to 11.5 mln passengers, Aeroflot announced on Friday.

"Based on the results of the first quarter, 11.5 mln passengers were transported, which is an increase of 21.7% compared to the same period in 2023. Passenger turnover increased by 30.9%, maximum passenger turnover - by 27.9%," the statement said.

In total, during the quarter, transportation on domestic flights increased by 14.9% to 8.6 mln passengers, on international flights - by 47.9% to 2.9 mln passengers.

In March 2024, the group increased transportation by 21.2% year-on-year and transported 4 mln passengers.

Aeroflot airline increased transportation by 32.3% in the Q1 to 6.4 mln passengers, in March - by 28% to 2.2 mln.
