Moldova to get Russian gas at lower price in April

"In April, the procurement price of natural gas supplied by Gazprom to the Republic of Moldova, subject to the calorific value, will be $327.27 per 1,000 cubic meters," Moldovagaz CEO Vadim Ceban said

CISINAU, April 1. /TASS/. The price of Russian natural gas for Moldova will decline in April from $339 to $327 per 1,000 cubic meters, CEO of Moldovagaz Vadim Ceban said.

"In April, the procurement price of natural gas supplied by Gazprom to the Republic of Moldova, subject to the calorific value, will be $327.27 per 1,000 cubic meters," Ceban wrote on his Telegram channel. The entire volume of gas from the Russian supplier will be sent to the company Tiraspoltransgaz in unrecognized Transnistria, he added.

In Transnistria, the Russian gas is used to generate electric power at Moldova's power plant, eventually going to the people of Moldova.
