Rostelecom paid $7.6 mln windfall tax, First VP says

On August 4, 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law setting a one-off 10% windfall tax for major companies

MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. Rostelecom completed a security payment for the windfall tax amounting to about 700 mln rubles ($7.6 mln) in late November, First Vice President and CFO of the Russian telecom company Sergey Anokhin told reporters.

"We paid approximately 700 mln rubles in late November," Anokhin said on the sidelines of the Rostelecom Tech Day IT conference.

On August 4, 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law setting a one-off 10% windfall tax for major companies.
