Russia, Mongolia agree to simplify customs procedures

Deliveries between companies having the status of the authorized economic operator can be performed by the Russian customs service mainly in the automatic regime, without actions of customs inspectors, Viktoria Abramchenko noted

ULAANBAATAR, October 23. /TASS/. Russia and Mongolia have agreed to start working on the mutual recognition of the authorized economic operator status to simplify customs procedures, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Viktoria Abramchenko said after the intergovernmental commission’s meeting.

"Such mechanism will make it possible to create simplified customs corridors," the official said.

Deliveries between companies having the status of the authorized economic operator can be performed by the Russian customs service mainly in the automatic regime, without actions of customs inspectors, Abramchenko added. "[We] agreed to draw up a bilateral international agreement," she noted.
