Russia not discussing its oil production cuts with OPEC+, Deputy PM says

The meeting of the OPEC+ Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee to be held in early February

ASHGABAT, January 19. /TASS/. Russia is not discussing the possibility of reducing its oil production level with OPEC+ participants if the discount for its feedstock remains high, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.

"No, we are not discussing such issues," the official said.

The meeting of the OPEC+ Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee will be held in early February, Novak said. Countries still have to agree whether to hold it online or offline, the official noted. "We will discuss the overall market situation," Novak added.
