Rostelecom’s 2022 financial results outshines previous year’s figures

It is noted that in 2025, Rostelecom will get a new strategic model

MOSCOW, January 19. /TASS/. Rostelecom’s financial results for 2022 are better than those for 2021, President of Russia’s national telecommunications operator Mikhail Oseevsky told reporters on Thursday, adding that the company’s performance exceeded the strategic model.

"I will put it like that, we are developing better than our strategic model suggests (as of the end of 2022 - TASS)," he said when asked about the company’s financial results for 2022.

In 2025, Rostelecom will get a new strategic model, Oseevsky added.

Rostelecom’s consolidated revenue under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) increased in 2021 compared to 2020 by 6% and amounted to 580.092 bln rubles ($5.09 bln). The operator’s net profit in 2021 increased by 26% to 31.832 bln rubles ($279.32 mln), the company said earlier.
