Peugeot to recall 966 cars in Russia

The reason is the possibly improper torque when tightening hub nuts of rear wheels

MOSCOW, January 28. /TASS/. Peugeot Citroen Rus, the official representative of Peugeot in Russia, will recall 966 Peugeot 408 and Peugeot Partner cars in Russia, the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) reports on its website on Wednesday.

The recall will cover automobiles sold from November 2020 to October 2021. The reason to recall motor vehicles is the possibly improper torque when tightening hub nuts of rear wheels.

"The replacement of rear wheel hub nuts and their tightening with the proper torque will be made in all motor vehicles," the regulator said. Repair activities will be free of charge.
