Russian PM signed documents to establish advance development territories in seven regions

Investments are expected to total about $544.6 mln

GORKI, April 15. /TASS/. Documents regarding establishment of advance development territories (ADT) in seven Russian regions were signed, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Monday.

"I signed the whole package of decisions to set up ADT - these are 7 advance socioeconomic development territories in Oryol, Volgograd, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Novgorod, Kirov and Tula regions," Medvedev said.

Investments are expected to total about 35 bln rubles ($544.6 mln), Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko added.

Over seven thousand new jobs will appear and budgets of different level will earn more than 37 bln rubles ($575.3 mln).

Modern chemical, food and automotive production facilities should be established in seven new ADTs, Medvedev said. Processing enterprises, logistical centers should be built and production of construction materials should be established there and "possibly, infrastructure should be set up, including the social one," the Prime Minister added.
