Kremlin: Relevant agencies able to weigh credibility of ‘revelations’ around Troika Dialog

This is not a matter on the Kremlin agenda, Peskov stressed

MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. The credibility of the journalistic investigation on channeling money out of Russia through Troika Dialog offshore network will be evaluated by specialized agencies, Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.

"This is not a matter on our agenda. We have a corresponding fiscal department, financial intelligence that have all the necessary powers to monitor financial activities of various structures that work in this economic sector. With all the necessary powers, the relevant financial agencies can evaluate such reports for credibility or inaccuracy," Peskov said.

Earlier, several media outlets, including RBC, published data from the journalistic investigation project of the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), according to which investment company Troika Dialog, run by Ruben Vardanyan, created a network of offshore companies through which money was channeled out of Russia, including the use criminal schemes.
