SOFIA, March 4. /TASS/. Bulgaria needs to obtain reliable guarantees from the European Commission to ensure that a line of the TurkStream pipeline will go through its territory, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at a press conference following talks with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov

"I hope we will be able to talk about further concrete steps (for continuation of the TurkStream through the Bulgarian territory - TASS) after the corresponding guarantees have been issued - I mean not from the Bulgarian government but when the European Commission provides reliable guarantees that this project will not collapse in the future and will not face any obstacles. I hope that our Bulgarian friends also understand this and are carrying out relevant work, we talked about this with my colleague," Medvedev said.
