Putin says vast sums have been allocated for national projects

The president said he expects results already later in 2019

MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin expects the results of implementation of national projects already by the end of this year, he said at a meeting with representatives of Russian media outlets on Wednesday, adding that vast sums have been allocated for those purposes.

"Indeed, it (State of the Nation Address to the Federal Assembly) is focused more on domestic issues, on the problems of social and economic development. That is also natural since we launch national projects and spend vast sums on that - over 25 trillion rubles ($380 bln)," Putin said, adding that he expects first "results already by the end of this year, and more in 2020 and 2021.".
