Oman set to continue coordination with Russia on global hydrocarbons market — minister

MOSCOW, February 18. /TASS/. Oman considers it necessary to continue coordination with Russia on the global oil and gas market, the country’s Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah said at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday.

"Our bilateral relations are advanced, based on mutual confidence. We will welcome and promote expansion of ties in the tourism sector, and we will welcome an increase in Russia’s tourist flow to our country. We are interested in development and enhancement of the trade and economic relationship. Taking into account the fact that both countries are oil-producing, we consider it necessary to cooperate on the global hydrocarbons market," he explained.
