Russia’s Kalashnikov interested in Brazilian market, says CEO

The company’s Chief Executive Officer said that the concern is "preparing and in the process of negotiations with potential partners"

SOCHI, February 15. /TASS/. The Kalashnikov concern is exploring the possibilities of cooperating with Brazil, the company’s Chief Executive Officer Vladimir Dmitriev said at the Russian investment forum on Friday, adding that negotiations with potential partners are underway.

"We want to cooperate with Brazil as we are interested in that market. Same as Russia, India and China, that is one of the fastest growing economy with a huge potential. We understand that we can be demanded and successful, the question is only in which form and format," he said.

Dmitriev added that the company is "preparing and in the process of negotiations with potential partners."

The Russian investment forum is taking place in the Black Sea resort city of Sochi on February 14-15. This year the forum focuses on Russia’s national projects. Roscongress is the organizer of the forum. TASS news agency acts as the forum’s general information partner and the photo host agency.
