Investments in national projects in Murmansk to make about $597 million

There are 46 regional projects aimed at implementation of ten national projects, regional governor Marina Kovtun said

SOCHI, February 14. /TASS/. Investments in implementation of regional programs under the national projects in the Murmansk Region will make almost 40 billion rubles ($597 million), the region’s Governor Marina Kovtun said in an interview with TASS during the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi on Thursday.

"We have 46 regional projects aimed at implementation of ten national projects," she said. "Investments in all the 46 projects are almost 40 billion rubles," where the region will invest 19 billion rubles, and 21 billion will come from the federal budget.

During the projects’ implementation, the evaluation systems may be corrected, but the region anyway has sufficient experience in projecting, in system-based approaches, which will help in work on the new projects, the governor added.

The Russian Investment Forum is underway in Sochi, it will continue to February 15. The forum’s key topic in 2019 is implementation of national projects. The event’s organizer is the Roscongress Foundation. TASS is the forum’s general information partner and the photohost agency.
