TYUMEN, February 13. /TASS/. The Russian Helicopters holding (part of the state corporation Rostec) hopes to receive the first foreign type certificate for the Ansat helicopter in China, deputy head of the holding Dmitry Danilov told TASS.

"We are working on the validation of the type certificate in various countries, in the near future, I hope, we will receive it in China," he said adding that this will actually allow the company to enter the world market.

According to Danilov, the company already has a number of signed contracts and is preparing to sign new agreements on Ansat.

"We are starting exports this year," he noted.

An official with the holding’s press service told TASS that in China the company signed a contract for the supply of 20 Ansat helicopters to the Disaster Medicine in China association.

Earlier, head of Russian Helicopters Andrei Boginsky said that in the next ten years, the demand for civilian helicopters in the countries of Southeast Asia could amount to 420 vehicles and the Russian holding company expects to receive a substantial share on that this market.

Ansat is a light two-engine multirole helicopter serially produced by Kazan Helicopter Plant. It can be quickly transformed into a cargo or a passenger option to carry seven people.
