Caracas pledges to expand cooperation with Russian companies - vice president

CARACAS, February 3. /TASS/. Venezuela’s government will not curtail cooperation with Russian companies amidst the ongoing political crisis but plans to expand such cooperation instead, Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez said on Sunday.

"Yesterday I met with representatives from Russian companies. We are not going to curtail relations with them in any way, on the contrary, we will only expand them," she said at a briefing for Russian journalists commenting the opposition’s plans toroll back cooperation with Russia.

"President Maduro is not just a good friend of Russia and of President Putin personally. He continues the policy towards expanding our relations. We will develop and expand them, both in terms of geopolitics and in terms of building a multipolar world," she added.
