Russian businessman interested in investing in Telegram founder’s blockchain project

Mass media reported earlier citing sources that Pavel Durov can present the TON blockchain project at the World Economic Forum underway in Davos

DAVOS, January 22. /TASS/. Founder of the Russian dairy products and juices producer Wimm-Bill-Dann David Yakobashvili is interested in investments into the TON blockchain project of Pavel Durov, the founder of the Telegram messenger. The businessman told TASS about it on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

"I am already investing into Durov’s projects. Other projects are interesting also but I do not have accurate information about TON project so far," Yakobashvili said.

The businessman invested $10 mln into Telegram at a private pre-ICO in 2018.
