App builders to be most sought after specialists on Russian labor market in 2019

According to the study based on the data from the Superjob website, an UI/UX designer is the second most popular occupation

MOSCOW, December 28. /TASS/. Developers of iOS and Android applications, UI/UX-designers and QA testers will be the most sought after specialists in Russia in 2019, a spokesperson with Superjob.ru website told TASS on Friday.

"Considering high rate of development of mobile applications in 2019, the demand for developers of iOS and Android applications will continue to grow. Competition for a vacant position in this segment of the labor market is very low (less than 2 people per place), according to the study. At the same time, their average salary in Moscow is around 130-140,000 rubles ($1,800-2,000), and the maximum salary offered for this position is 300,000 rubles ($4,318)," the Superjob analysts said.

According to the study, UI/UX designer is the second most popular occupation in 2019.

"The competition here is 2.5 applicants for a vacancy. The average salary in Moscow is 110-120,000 rubles ($1,600-1,700), and the maximum salary is 250,000 rubles ($3,600), the portal found out.

"Higher market requirements for software quality lead to an increase in demand for QA/QA specialists: both young professionals who are ready to train and experienced testers of complex applications who master several programming languages and test automation tools are in demand here," research. On average there are 2.5 CVs per each job. The average salary in Moscow is 80-90,000 rubles ($1,100-1,300), the maximum wage is 250,000 rubles ($3,600)," Superjob said.

The headhunters believe that in 2019 the demand for data analysts will continue to grow in Russia.

"Their services are most in demand among IT-companies, financial institutions, companies working in sales and services. Big Data analysts have the highest incomes in this sector. Their average salary in Moscow is 140-150,000 rubles ($2,000-2,100) but sometimes it may reach 250,000 rubles ($3,600)," the analysts said.

The study was based on the data from the Superjob website, whose monthly audience exceeds 10 mln users.
