MOSCOW, December 26. / TASS /. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he sees a large role of big business in the implementation of national projects, said he at a meeting with 59 top entrepreneurs on Wednesday. He noted that national projects are the most important areas of government work in the coming years.
"Certainly, in this great work one of the key places belongs to business, without this it is difficult to imagine the development of the economy. We see you as responsible and active partners," said Putin. He noted that, "society is counting on the involvement of business to achieve the breakthrough that is necessary for Russia." He recalled that in the first quarter of 2019, work on national projects will be launched. "I hope that substantive agreements with you and your colleagues, which may not be in this room, with the business as a whole on the development of national projects, will be reached," he added. Among the areas of cooperation between the state and business during the implementation of national projects, Putin called, in particular, increasing labor productivity, updating production through modern, more efficient technologies, as well as training professional personnel and constantly improving the competencies of people employed in the country's economy. All these tasks require the coordination of the efforts of the state and business, President Putin concluded.
