Government did not remove privatization from agenda, says economy chief

MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. The Russian government did not remove the topic of privatization from the agenda, continues to work in this direction, Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin said at a meeting with representatives of the Association of European Businesses (AEB).

On December 8, Head of the Russian Accounts Chamber Alexey Kudrin said that the topic of reducing the state’s share in the economy was removed from the agenda of the Russian government.

"Privatization was not removed from the agenda. We continue to work on it," Oreshkin said, adding that the government continues to search for strategic investors for several assets.
